Richard Geller, President and Founder of MedWorks, Corporate Meditation Programs
Richard Geller, president and founder of MedWorks Corporate Meditation Programs, has practiced meditation for over 30 years and has taught stress reduction through meditation to thousands of people in the workplace over the last 20 years. He teaches all major techniques of meditation, and is a graduate of the University of Massachusetts Medical School’s professional training program in Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction.
He has focused his efforts on teaching meditation in the business world because he knows first-hand the stresses that employees deal with every day. He has also worked for over 30 years as a software developer, consultant, and technical trainer for large corporations on both coasts.
He has taught meditation at the New England Journal of Medicine, Blue Cross Blue Shield, TripAdvisor, Reebok, Dunkin’ Brands, Genzyme, the MA Department of Public Health, and over fifty other companies.
He also serves as a volunteer meditation teacher at the Suffolk County House of Correction (the Boston city jail), where he has taught for 20 years.
Mr. Geller’s work has been featured in the Boston Globe, Financial Times, Bloomberg News, Mass High Tech, New York Post, and Boston CBS-4 TV news.

Come and learn how meditation works along with several simple, yet powerful, meditation techniques: breath focus, body scan, standing meditation, and walking meditation. The focus is on the underlying mechanism of all types of meditation: concentration and mindfulness.The class is highly interactive, hands-on, and easy to learn.Upon completion, you will be able to practice meditation and mindfulness anytime, anywhere that stress occurs, and immediately feel the benefits.
Since 2001, thousands of people in the Boston area have participated in this class at their workplace. It's perfect for beginners as well as experienced practitioners.
Participants sit in chairs and wear normal attire. No eating in the class please (water is OK).
