Maureen Daniels, Director Wellness and Community Health
Berkshire Health Systems

Maureen has worked in the field of Wellness for the last 18 years and is the Director of Wellness & Community Health Department for Berkshire Health Systems (BHS). Berkshire Health Systems is a small community health system nestled in the Berkshire Hills of Massachusetts. The Wellness team designs, implements and evaluates wellness programming for its almost 5,000 staff and spouses, for the local businesses and the Berkshire community at large.

It is the mission of Berkshire Health Systems to support positive changes in the health of the community. Some of Maureen’s work includes the partnership with the Canyon Ranch Institute Life Enhancement Program which brings health literacy curriculum into underserved neighborhoods in Berkshire County. Maureen oversees the 3 Core Teams developed since its conception in 2013.

Maureen obtained her Bachelor’s Degree from SUNY Potsdam and her Master’s degree in Health Promotion & Wellness from Springfield College.  Maureen has a passion for supporting others to become their best selves, but her real love is spending time with her 2 boys - one of the top reasons she strives to stay healthy.
